Point of Sales Display Stand (POS Displays) and Point of Purchase Display Stands (POP Displays)

Made From Cardboard, Foamex, and Other Materials

A point of sales display that is made from cardboard is the most common option we produce but we can also manufacture Foamex displays, Correx display stands, and more bespoke POS options – for example, we built a giant cardboard Big Ben tower once!

Adding Foamex components to a point of sales stand or CDU certainly adds a touch of class and luxury, allowing intricate cut detail that wouldn’t work so well with cardboard.

Foamex cut edges are smooth and seamless unlike corrugated cardboard, so work well if there are complex shaped cut-outs in the stand header or sides allowing for complex bespoke display stand designs.

However, our experienced cardboard engineers can work quite complex designs out of cardboard, as illustrated in the example below:

Point of Purchase display stands help you to create impulse purchases at the checkout areas within stores – names we have supported over the years include Michael Kors, MacMillan Cancer Support, BASF, PopChips, Larocpro Cosmetics, Osram and PlantGro.

Display stands and POP display stands are different descriptions for the same type of product; these stands showcase your product within a forecourt, garden centre, duty-free outlet or shop near to where the purchase is made.

Our creative in-house design team will come up with a unique design that best promotes your product and brand, helping you to stand out from the crowd, and catch the attention of retail shoppers as they check out.

What does POS and Point of Sale mean? POS stands for Point Of Sale and POS is advertising in-store that sets out to encourage impulse purchases or increased level of purchases. Our handy glossary of terms in the merchandising trade can be seen on this website.

The difference between POS materials and a point of sales display generally refer to printed marketing pieces that draw attention to the goods, that does not necessarily hold the goods, eg: shelf wobblers, whereas a display is a self-contained unit that holds the actual items.
